Boogie Nights(1997)-Paul Thomas Anderson takes us on a voyage to the golden era of 70s Hollywood P**n, before VHS, when it was considered an art form. Mark Wahlberg plays an aspiring actor with a huge talent, who is spotted by P**n director Burt Reynoldsand made into a star. Boogie Nights boasts comedy names like Dirk Diggler, Jack Horner and Brock Landers. It also contains explicit sex scenes, such as when Wahlberg and Julianne Moore have sex on camera as P**n stars for the first time.

Wild Things(1998)-Incredibly trashy, but hugely enjoyable thriller, that combines graphic violence, innovative plot twists and an inspired cast led by three of Hollywood's biggest teen idols: Matt Dillon, Neve Campbell and Denise Richards. The movie's glossy production values and high school setting might initially fool you into thinking this is no more than a feature-length 90210 episode but it's not long before Wild Things' A-list cast are steaming up the screen in a series of sex scenes that leave little to the imagination. The movie's target audience of male teens watch this movie over and over again just for the moment when Neve and Denise get it on, and then there's the famous threesome...

Top Gun(1986)-An out and out 80s classic. Cruise is Lt Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell, the top-gun pilot on a testosterone high, Kelly McGillis his devastatingly beautiful flight trainer. Of course they get it together, but it's not their "soft and gentle" love-making that sets this movie on fire. Top Gun has come to be seen as a bona fide, mega-camp gay movie, a theory supported by none other than Quentin Tarantino in his film Sleep With Me. It's easy to see why. A phallic backdrop of jets and motorbikes combines with the fetishism of men in uniform and an atmosphere of bristling testosterone-fuelled competition. The scene in which an oiled up trio of Maverick, Iceman and Slider play volleyball, is regarded as one of the greatest screen representations of homo-eroticism ever. Who'd have thought it?
